Modern software development, done right

Cykod is now mostly a one person development agency that is a lot of Pascal and a little bit of Martha as needed. We focus on AI Assisted development - building projects in a fraction of the time of larger agencies, while still applying best-in-class engineering practices.

Cykod was founded in 2006 when Martha and I started it in our tiny condo in the North End of Boston, then a few years in moved to offices in Somerville and later the Seaport. We built hundred of websites in our 8 years of business and grew to 6 full-time employees before merging into a startup we had built and I was the CTO of at the time. We then shut down from 2013-2026 as Martha became a tenured professor of communications at Massachusetts College of Art, and I joined Alignable as full-time CTO for 13 years.

In 2026, Cykod restarted as a single-developer agency focused on quick turnaround, AI assisted development at a fraction of the cost of larger agencies. By carefully orchestrating a fleet code agents, projects can be built and deployed in the time it takes other agencies to schedule a kick-off. Utilizing 30+ years of software development experience to build well-architected, scalable products we look forward to working with you on whatever you can imagine.
