Prior to leaving my previous role as CTO, I lead the charge on moving from a typical software development process to an AI assisted process, applying best-in-class agile engineering processes to the wild west of AI Assisted development.

Since leaving that role, I've put my developer hat back on and have refined a hands-on process for how to most effectively work with AI and avoid the standard pitfalls of review fatigue, structural decay and slow collapse of shared understanding across the codebase.

I've also put together a structured presentation to leadership and product management to help them understand how their roles need to change as code gets dramatically cheaper. Without making structural changes to an overall product development approach you'll get left behind.

The Approach

Please note - my background is with startups engaged in existing agile processes using open-source stacks, so I may not be a good fit for more traditional development processes or closed source, C# / Java heavy stacks.
